Women's Conference

I headed up to BYU for Womens Conference for the first time this year. It was a fun trip. WAY to quick-2 nights away is not enough! Especially when your day is jam packed with classes to go to! We did our fair share of ditching to squeeze in some eating, shopping and movie time. I loved it, it's always great to get a little break every now and then!

Aunt Sandra

We went over to Nonna's and got to help Sandra get ready for PROM! The girls had fun watching her do her makeup and waiting for her date to pick her up. Blake helped too...Tanner was probably in his usual spot at Grandma's-on the computer.

Spring Training Football Camp

This spring sports season we signed Tanner up in a "Passing League" for football. It was non-competitive/camp style. It was 3 days/week through Spring Break, then 2 days/week after that, for 2 hours each time. It was a LOT of football, but he loved it. He did so good, and was so brave-he didn't know anyone out of 50-60+ boys! They split them off into the big guys/little guys of course. He learned a lot and I think it's something we want to do every year. It was a bit of a drive being 20-25 mins away, so we usually stayed and hung out when the weather was nice....Blake loved just being outside, and the girls usually brought their scooters and/or ran around the fields.

Payton "HAPPY" Soccer

We had a MUCH better experience with Payton at her second soccer game. She had so much fun and NO ONE cried the entire game! I wish I could say that the rest of the season was great also, but I can't. She did have a few good games in a row, then shut down for the last two and literally sat in the corner of the field with her head in her legs til the game was over. She's so random-you never know what to expect! She wants to play again sometime, but with "girls only" she says (Kamryn taught her that) So, it might be a while, cause the only girls only league is once they are in U8!

Easter

Happy Easter!

Tanner

Kamryn

Payton

Blake

After the egg hunt Kamryn looked at her full bucket and Payton's not so full bucket and said, "Here Payton have some of my eggs so we can be fair." At first Payton looked at her confused (she didn't even realize/care about the egg amount) but once she got what Kamryn was doing, she gave her a huge hug and said thank you.

Easter Sunday

Easter at Nonna's

We went to my Mom's for a yummy Easter dinner, and she did her annual Easter egg hunt for the grandkids. They all search for the GOLDEN egg that has ONE dollar bill in it!

(I didn't get any pics of the grownup egg hunt, but Mom tricked us this year and hid them in the FRONT yard after sending us to look in the pool area first-it was funny)

Hannah Montana Movie

Kamryn has been so excited for this movie to come out and also to go see it with Aunt Sandra. We met Kylee there too! She loved it and can't wait til it comes out on video. And I loved hanging out with JUST Kamryn...

so cute...

They learned this song in Primary at Church a couple weeks ago, and they are loving it. Payton is so funny, she gets a kick out of the fact that she said LUBS, and not LOVES.

The Sharks

Payton and her little friends in the neighborhood are finally old enough to play soccer! They all did SO good at the first practice and were so excited for their game. Well, until they got there...There are seven kids on the team-and FIVE of them cried almost the entire 30 min game. And believe it or not, Payton was one of those cryers. I think it was a combination of being tired and it being a cold and windy morning.

Hey at least she hung out on the field while they ran circles around her...

Seth and Samuel-the two happy kids

Sneaking some hugs from Dad

She got even more sad for a bit

Then in the end she was still bitter, but at least the tears were gone!
