T-BALL

Kamryn and her soccer buddies decided it was time to try T-ball. We formed a team and they are loving it. I persoanlly am amazed that they hold their attention to a game with so little action! They each (14 kids) get a turn at bat and slowly advance base to base. The last batter ALWAYS gets a home run. Then they go in the feild while the other team gets their 14-15 turns at bat. They do this 3 times (for one hour), then we head home! Anyway, like I said, they are having so much fun out there and loving it!

Legoland

When I got home from Idaho, we still had a week left of Spring Break so we planned a last min trip to CA with Heidi and her family. The kids were SO good for the drive it was almost unbelievable! We drove over Friday morning and went straight to the sealife aquarium. The kids had fun walking around and checking out all the sea creatures. That only took about an hour so we had plenty of time to go grab some food at Islands down the street. We filled the booth with 4 adults and 8 kids. The next morning we went to Legoland. It was a tad on the crowded side, but it could have been worse. They had so much fun and we had plenty of time to hit all the main rides. My favorite part was watching the older kids drive the Lego cars. It was cute to see them stopping at the red lights and what not.

My weekend in Idaho

I have been to Boise four times now to visit family. Anyway, all FOUR times were in the WINTERTIME! It wasn't too cold this time, but it was still far from green and the sun finally came out as we were boarding the plane to come home. I'm not complaining, just reminding myself that I NEED/WANT to visit in the SUMMERTIME next year!!

Ticket prices dropped WAY low one day so Heidi and I booked flights and joined my parents for a trip to Idaho to see Joey and his family, and to see Brie's new baby Brooklyn and go to her baby blessing that Sunday. We stayed for FIVE days! We brought our babies and it was SO much fun to just get to hang out with Blake. He was a little sick and wasn't his normal self the first couple days, but with once he got some good naps in he was back to being the happy giggly baby that we love.

He did GREAT on the plane also. Slept over half the flight both ways! That is a MIRACLE for my children. They despise sleeping while being held at any age for some reason. Here's some highlights from the long weekend....

Oh yeah, did I mention ALL of my siblings were there also!!!
(bring on the picture overload, but I had to choose my favorites out of 160 photo's!)

Blake in airport WAY past his bedtime, and hanging out with Grandpa in the car

Blake is always good at dinnertime...as long as big people food is involved! (that is cute Hailey with him there-she LOVED Blake and was my little helper...she may be the same age as Payton but let me tell you, NIGHT AND DAY difference when it comes to loving this kid...Hailey is actually physically capable of being "soft" Payton lacks that trait as most everyone has witnessed)

Can you tell it was only BLAKE with me this weekend!?? hah

We got to see lots of these little cuties too-JD and Zephyr...I wish Tanner could have had the chance-he misses his boy cousins!

Let the pool trips begin!

It's been two years now since we moved out of our house with a pool :( . But a pool close by opened up just in time for last summer and it is SO much fun. And litterally costs spare change to get into. It was fun to get to take the kids over spring break since the slides and lazy river were open then also. Once school starts back up, then only the huge play part in the center is open til summertime.

Later that night we met Papa and Maga for some yummy dinner!

Oh yeah, and I LOVE sprinkler pictures....maybe cause it means we have grass in the backyard and not DIRT anymore?!?, or maybe it just brings back fun memories. Either way, they love the sprinkers.....if they spot them on, their suits are on in seconds!
