28 years OLD!

Friday was the big day...7 years married and now 28 years old! I had a good day swimming and relaxing with the kids, then had a nice dinner out with Brian that night. Then tonight some friends of ours took us to dinner and we stayed up until midnight playing Guitar Hero and some Tennis! Check out this cake April made-SO cute! Why didn't we get any pictures of us 5 girls together??, and not even a group picture! We've got to get one before Nate and Lori leave to Maryland for sure. Thanks again everyone for a fun night!

They're done and up!

Well, this has been quite the process! And we're still not done! But we did get to hang the panels on the huge door today and I love it! I need to train them still to fall properly, and also get some sort of tie back for the sides of the panels. All we have left is to put the panels up on the bay window and when our table comes in then we'll be set! It's been so fun trying to figure out what we wanted and everything, but so glad it's done! I'll add a pic of the bay window next week once we get the hardware and get it hung.....



We'll probably never shut them, but we thought it was cool how much stinkin fabric there was! It's like a ginormous wall of fabric....

A new bed...

Kamryn has been sleeping on a mattress on the floor for almost 8 weeks now, so we were pretty excited to set up her new bed! Since I got the bed together and the dressers put in, I haven't had the motivation to get the other twin put together. Payton won't need it for a while anyway....So here's her new stuff! Now onto figuring out what to do with her wall space!

They grow so fast!

We have family pics this weekend in Ca with the whole family. I decided this morning that I had better try everything on the kids before I pack, and thank goodness-is it just me or are Kamryn's pants a tad too short! I swear they fit her 2 months ago! Anyway, ignore the hair....they had just all crawled out of bed for the morning!

Ouch!

So, yesterday my back started hurting in the morning. I don't remember what made it hurt, but it felt like a kinked neck does and I had to be careful all day which way I moved, etc...Well, after dinner, I was taking a pic of the girls and Tanner wanted in it, so I went to lift him up, and as I did we both went crashing to the ground. He got right up and I laid there for a bit with Brian trying not to laugh at me....Now my back hurt REALLY bad! I was dreading getting up because that meant moving and hurting more! Needless to say, it was a long bumpy ride home, and a long night trying to sleep! But thanks to left over pain meds from after I had Payton, I'm getting by today. And... I think I'm due for another nap! Hopefully this doesn't last long...My house is a mess and bending over to pick things up is out of the question today! Oh yeah, and of course Tanner still wanted a picture with him in it, so Sandra took it for me!

Memorial Day

We had the usual family BBQ and had lots of fun swimming. It was so hot outside, but the pool was so cold at the same time! We did try and get in a good game of volleyball, but the girls couldn't quite get their game on, so we just messed around. I didn't end up taking any fun swim pics, but I have some from Swimming at Tricia's on Saturday that I'll post. Oh and poor Kamryn-she got STUNG by a BEE!! Brian had to pull the stinger out and everything, and the bee was dead in the pool next to her. She fell asleep in grandmas arms soon after and never complained once she woke up.


It was a fun afternoon and the chicken was so Yummy!

Kindergarten here we come!

Tanner's graduation was this afternoon. He was a little unsure of it all. You should have seen his face. During the entire presentation he had a huge blank look on his face. Almost like he was going to burst into tears any second. But once it was over he was all smiles!

Payton

Well today Payton decided to love swimming lessons! Her float is still just okay, but now that shes not freaking out she should master it quickly from here. One picture if her roll...she swims towards the teacher and then rolls into a float, shes got e roll down 100%! But check out her frantic face in a pic from yesterday (yeah, same suit both days, so it's confusing!) and then her smiles from today. The teacher said she was full on grinning as she was struggling under water also! Go Payton! Afterwards she lays completely covered under her towel and would stay there forever totally still if I let her!

WELCOME HOME DAVID!

I just realized I didnt even get a good pic of him on my camera! I'll have to get one from my mom and add it later. But I did get some cute ones of the kids while we were waiting! It was a crazy day. David flew in at noon and from there we had pizza and played around for a few hours, then headed to Emily graduation! From there we met at BJ's for a late night dinner, (it was almost 9:30!) Congrats Em! Anyway, it was one exciting day....

Swimming lessons

Swimming lesson season! Tanner and Kamryn both passed the first week and are done with lessons! Kamryn is the funniest to watch, her float is like a pencil and she is so serious. They just go back and forth across the pool, swim, rest, swim, rest...etc. So now we've got to get Payton floating and we'll be good to go! Then did so good and loved every second. Payton gets so excited before the lesson, but then you hear mama... mama....mama...in a soft whine anytime her head is out of the water. But with two weeks down, she's doing great! I'll have to come back and add some floating pics of her sometime this next week.

Happy Birthday Tanner!

Tanner had such a fun birthday this year. He was so excited to turn 5. We had planned on swimming with some friends, but oddly enough, it was only in the 70's today! So we took him out to lunch and miniature golfing. We all had a great time. Some more fun facts about Tanner at 5 years old:

He is SUCH a good helper to mom. He's so willing to help me with everything around the house, and especially helpful when we're trying to rush everyone out the door. He also is a GREAT babysitter as we like to call it. He does a great job playing and taking care of his sisters anytime mommy wants to sneak in a nap!

Tanner wants a brother so bad these days. He says if he had a brother then he wouldn't have to play dolls or play by himself anymore!

He loves to play pirates, cars, house, ANYTHING actually. He really gets into pretend play also. He likes to watch TV and movies too. Almost any show will satisfy him!

Tanner loves his bunkbed and has a great time switching off between the top and bottom bunks.

Lately he trys to make breakfast for everyone every monring. He knows his limits and if the milk is too heavy, then he'll get it all set up with cereals all poured, THEN come wake mommy to pour the milk.
