YUCK!

Well, after a summer of the quads sitting with dead batteries, Tanner decided it was time to start riding again. Since it sat in the same place on the patio for months...this ginormous black widow had turned it into his home! I was watching Tanner through the kitchen window and could see something dangling off the tail end as he rode. The thing was hanging on for life as he sped around the yard a few times while I tried to get him to get stop.


And yes, those are HUMONGOUS weeds everywhere! It's SO fun to have just dirt in your backyard isn't it!

I can drive again!

It looks like I ran over some sort of large rock, and it got my tire right in the inner side at the edge and pinched it good! Good enough to totally split?! the tire! I knew I heard something....

Well, he spare is on and we're good to go for now at least. Tomorrow is a crazy day, I have to get done everything I should have gotten done today, plus some.....so, it looks as though a trip to the tire place isn't going to happen anytime soon!

I have the worst luck

At least when it comes to TIRES!!!

I was just driving home from the gym, and I heard/felt something and I thought, what was that! I hadn't seen anything in the road, and I was only going 30 mph in my neighborhood. When I pulled into the garage and got out, and heard the ZZZZZZZZZZZ..... Air was gushing out. I couldn't find anything stuck in the tire!??! I wanted to go back out and see if there was anything in the road, but, I now had no way to get there! My sister is headed over right now so I can use her car to go pick up Kamryn from gymnastics! What luck......

April, Shireen and Lori, does this bring back memories or WHAT! Good times....

Preschool!

Another one grows up too fast! I can't believe I'm down to one kid for 4 whole hours a week! Haha. Kamryn has been talking about starting school all summer long. Her and Tanner will have little discussions about it and Tanner makes sure to end by telling her that his is better cause he gets to go all day! Does he like school better than home?!?! Probably so...there's boys at school, and only girls around here! Anyway, Kamryn had a great first day of school!

CALIFORNIA...beach time!

Payton seemed to love the beach more than the older ones even. She couldn't get enough of water or the sand crabs....she would help dig them up and put them in and out of the bucket too. Tanner went boogie boarding a few times with dad, but I only got one not so good picture of it!! He did a good job and stayed on the board the whole way in(most of the time!) Anyway, here's some pics from the week....

CALIFORNIA...disneyland!

Since my parents moved to Gilbert two years ago, we hardly get to go to California anymore...So we were looking forward to this beach trip all summer long! We decided to take a day to go to Disneyland...it was a long day, but the kids loved it of course. We'd ask Kamryn what she wanted to do next, and she'd say, "a rollertoaster!" She was PERFECT height to go on almost everything there. I couldn't believe they both came out of the tower of terror laughing and wanting to go again! (we left Payton at the beach with my family, thanks again mom!)

Wyoming Trip!

Yes, it's a little delayed, but time has flown by this week! I thought I'd take a sec and post some pictures from our vacation last week. We went up to Utah and were able to spend time with Shannon and her new baby, and Tanner was SO excited to have a whole week of playing with Case. Then Saturday we headed up to the Section in Wyoming to the yearly reunion for Brian's grandpa's birthday! It was a fun, but crazy-busy week. Needless to say, it's taken us most of this week to get things back down to normal!
We went straight to dinner when we pulled out into town....so happy to be done driving!



We also took the kids to the Zoo while in Utah. They LOVED it!!! I had never taken them to a zoo of any sort and Tanner has always wanted to go. He says that was the best part of the trip....

Kamryn.....

About an hour ago, Kamryn came into the computer room and took Brian's I-pod off the desk (he had just got home from running and it was still on). Well, I just went to check on her, and she's asleep! She was very hesitant to go to bed tonight, but she's sleeping now!

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!

That's right! Tanner was so excited for his first day of school! He was sad to find out that none of his friends were in his class, but later found out that he could still play with them at recess! When I asked him what the best part of kindergarten was, he said, "playing outside!" He will be greatly missed around the house, but at least Payton is now at an age where she and Kamryn can play together! The girls were so excited to pick him up also! (it took 40 mins! that place was a ZOO! -as expected) Here's his pics from this morning...of course Payton wanted to join in on the camera fun!

Big BLACK (purple and pink actually) EYE

I know EVERYONE loves pictures like this, so I had to share! The first picture was taken within 5 mins of her eye hitting the coffee table while we were in Utah...and about an hour later it was almost double that size! It looked like she had a bouncy ball insider her eye brow! It was swollen about another day, and then it hit the colorful stage, which she loved actually! We kept telling her it was purple and pink eye make-up, and she thought she was special.....(ignore the dirty camping face, we had been in Wyoming that day before she zonked!)

At least we left her in good hands....

Yes, we are loving our vacation even though we miss Payton a ton! But it was nice to see that we left her in good hands!

Home sweet home....

Its been over a month now, but in the beginning of June we were able to have all of my family meet up in Palm Desert where we grew up. It was a fun weekend and we were able to get a few pictures of everyone. I was hoping to get a good family pic, but Payton had a super hard weekend and wasn't up for it. We may try again in a couple weeks at the beach and see if Payton does any better! Here's a few of my favorite shots...

She had a fever and had a random crabby sick day yesturday.....the best part was I got to lay down with her in Tanners bed, and she actually fell asleep! (first time in forever!)

Then she was demonstrating her "serious" look that she gives me when shes mad....followed by a sweetheart smile! She cracks us up and has us on our toes!

28 years OLD!

Friday was the big day...7 years married and now 28 years old! I had a good day swimming and relaxing with the kids, then had a nice dinner out with Brian that night. Then tonight some friends of ours took us to dinner and we stayed up until midnight playing Guitar Hero and some Tennis! Check out this cake April made-SO cute! Why didn't we get any pictures of us 5 girls together??, and not even a group picture! We've got to get one before Nate and Lori leave to Maryland for sure. Thanks again everyone for a fun night!
